This is to bring to your notice that the School of Nursing, Ekiti University Teaching Hospital is now the College of Nursing, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti.
We are using this article to let you know what to expect if you’ll be studying nursing in Ekiti State and you decide to go to EKSUTH.
What does this mean?
It means, some of the activities of the school have and will be changed.
How many years will it be at the College of Nursing Ado-Ekiti?
Nursing science will now be studied for 6 years at College of Nursing, Ado-Ekiti and below are the details of how the years will be.
- 4 years for the main program.
- 1 year for internship
- 1 year for NYSC.
Isn’t this cool? What if school of nursing is eradicated totally and we only have universities?
Certificates to be offered after the 4 years programme
The certificates are: RN, RM, RPH and HND. As said earlier, you can then proceed to do an internship and NYSC.
What is the model of entry to the College of Nursing Ado-Ekiti?
We are yet to confirm how the entrance will be but we guess it may be via JAMB. So if you’re going to study Nursing here, brace up!
What are the school fees like at College of Nursing Ado-Ekiti?
Will students write Nursing Council Exam?
You cannot be recognized by the NMCN without writing the council. The students at the College will definitely write Nursing Council in their 3rd year.
